it stuttered and went to one pot at the traffic lights yesterday then cleared and was OK .rode it tonight and it is intermittent between tickover and 3000 rpm stuttering and going to one pot then clearing.

i thought plugs and caps would be a good start but i am struggling to identify the caps.

anybody got an ngk number for them ?

i have ordered 2 x CPR8EA-9 which is a 10mm plug

most places seem to say xbo5f but theses are for 14mm plug so xd05f for 10-12mm would seem right ?

The NGK plugs you want are XB05F which should have a 5k-ohm internal resistance for interference suppression - I checked on my bike yesterday. They fit perfectly. I put these on mine a few years ago - no problems since.

Thanks for the replies i have been away for a few days.

the problem was plug caps as i managed to find some random ones in a local bike shop in cornwall to get me by.

i have some XD05F and new plugs on the way to fix it properly :)

i will update how they fit once they are on.
