Quick question,,,,,,,,,,,
my 600 TA will roll forwards and allow the sidestand to fold up on the slightest of downhill slopes,
should the stand lock in place somehow?
or do I just have to remember to park her in gear?

The latter I'm afraid Andy, the latter.

of course, you could always avoid parking yer machine facing downhill ;)

Has the ride height been changed (lowered) so the bike sits too upright so not as much load on the sidestand.

thanks for the helpful(?) replies,,,,,,, :)

I guess I've been spoilt by Guzzi and Harley which both have a positive lock which keeps the stand in place once it has load on it.

The only alteration to the height is the extra foam I stuffed under the seat cover to help tuck my long legs onto the foot pegs, and if anything the bike leans more than it should because the stand does have a little play (which is why I wondered if it was missing something).

Park in 1st gear it is then.
Problem solved.
