Morning All

Looking into the possibility of fitting a 650 shock onto a later model 600 ('98 ). Asked the same question in the huge 'transalp modifications' thread on ADVRider, but since the 650 wasn't sold in US there aren't many folk there with experience of the 650.

Anyone this side of the pond tried it? I understand that the linkage is different, but if the eye to eye length isn't too different I'm wondering if it could be fitted.

Anyone any experience or opinion?

Cheers

no is the answer..they have different top and bottom connectors also different shock lengths..only some parts are interchangable , namely the brake pads and calipers from later 600 models...

lots of companies do shock overhauls if that helps..including alterations to length and spring weights..

just google motorcycle suspension builders..
