Well, I’m back! First post for over two years.
Been away from Honda, big mistake. Let me just say that Transalps are superb.
Oh, a pain to work on the engine but..... :D

Picked up Suki yesterday, a new to me 09 plate. Ahhhh, lovely ride.

Anyway, back to tech...

The rear brake pedal is 8 feet too high! Okay, at least an inch. Haven’t got a manual yet and can’t see how I lower it.
I can see the brake cylinder adjuster, but does anyone know how to lower the pedal first, before I move onto the cylinder and switch adjustment.

cheers

John

Rotate the bolt LOCKWISE using 10 mm small spanner on the hexagon bit at the top. Dont forget to adjust the brake light switch too. Turn the, well hidden, knurled ring on the top of the switch until the brake light bulb is out but comes on as soon as the rear brake is operated. Switch may benefit from a spray of WD 40 . Make sure that both filaments of the bulb are working. I spent ages trying to get a blown bulb to work. !!
