that's some Christmas tree  probably best one I seen I wouldn't be having a toke on it it though I gave it up years ago the shades are gone to **** hear drug testing people 4 years off the road for cannabinoids in your system if you run into one of their check points . I know someone drove into one in the middle of the day recently . their is a war on jrugs pot heads are handing in bongs and packes of king size rizla all over the shop . :compress: the worst was a contraption of a tree I ever saw was made from wire clothes hanger's and silver tinsel and that was only a few years ago it was ****ing brutal I felt like saying hey 1976 called they want their really shitty Christmas tree back  I had been looking at 2 strokes on youtube lately with misty eyes until I saw that piston then I got a flash back to the good old days when we used to jump on a train to Dublin to go to city spares to buy barrels pistons cranks and all for 100cc 2 strokes after we seized them . lads we getting on trains carrying petrol tanks wheels exaust pipes long hair ac dc t shirts leather jackets and roll ups . I went in a pub very near the old city spares to buy skins one day and a funny old man was telling the bar man not to sell them to me because I had long hair and I wanted them for smoking hash :happy6: that's 30 year ago .

I enjoyed playing with jnrs little 2 stroke but I wouldnt buy one again. Its only done around 14000 miles and this appears to be having its 3rd re-bore..I just hope the bottom end is ok.
Me an jnr will be working over christmas on the Triumph project and then in spring I will probably swap the Triumph for jnrs XS400.
I am so not looking forward to jumping up and down on a kickstarter several times a day, I had enough of that nonsense when I sold my last SR500.
Its a blessing when you reach 60 to have a bike that has an electric start, maybe I should just stick my standard carb back on my Dommie, buy it some new tyres and go and enjoy that for a while.

My little bodger appears to be evolving into a proper mechanic.:blob5::blob5::blob5:
He sent me this video today which makes me as happy as a pig in a poo pen.

Only problem is now I am so jealous because he is 19 yrs old and has a properly sorted 22bhp totty magnet to go and have fun with..:D
This jealousy will probably go away on christmas day when we start putting the engine back in my TR6R with jnrs help....

Them TR6R lumps are heavy and I am not a teenager any more....:(:(:(

My bodger son has finished his XS 400 and I thought I would share a photo of his project...
He has already found a buyer and is moving on to his next one if they can agree on a price..
We have already found the next project, but we have to get it for a good price.
