Hi Ben, with regard a very early thread of yours, you spoke of maybe fitting subframe strengtheners when fitting the pannier racks to your old domi, did you follow this up, did you still feel the need to do this after you had fitted and loaded the alloy panniers, and had a ride out.

I have just received my H&B frames that will be fitted this weekend,Weather permitting:toothy2: I ordered from http://www.motorbikesandparts.co.uk/ fantastic service, with great comunication, just seven days from order to door.

Blimey, that must've been a long time ago :D

Nah, I only fitted the H&B pannier frames - I never carried a load heavy enough to feel that I needed to strengthen the rear subframe, and I never road the bike loaded up off-road, so I didn't think that the stresses would be there :dontknow:

The subframe can't be too bad as the bike was loaded up with both panniers full and a bag on the rear rack when I had my accident, and it rode fine when my Italian friend moved it 20km to his mate's house.
