Strange question and probably an obvious answer but I will ask anyway.

found this on Ebay (HONDA XL700V TRANSALP ACCESSORY LOOM | eBay) and was wondering if this simply plugs into the bike (if so where is the connector...) allowing for multiple connections of accessories and if this is the case then is this a switched circuit AND what ampage (is that a word) is it rated too (would it take heated grips, sat nav and comms?).

I could go down the route of wiring up say a Bluesea fuse board but the above method might be cheaper.

The 700 has a connector under the left hand side cover, for accessories. This is used for the cigarette socket, heated handlebars, and/or alarm.

The ebay connectors would plug into this and give you the different leads for each of the above.

Looks like a good buy.

What I did was take the switched live wires out of the accessory socket and solder them to the cigarette lighter I installed, but that ebay item is handier.
