A New Year, another Motorbike Rally !! ..


Fri 27th May to Sun 29th May 2016

Set in the small, quiet village of Strontian, Sunart Camping is the ideal location for exploring the stunning,
unspoilt Ardnamurchan Peninsula, arguably the most beautiful area of Scotland.
Renowned for its abundant wildlife and its white sandy beaches, you won’t fail to be impressed.

The sea Loch Sunart is also a haven for otters, seals, oystercatchers, heron and curlew.
Sunart Camping is the ideal base for touring the Highlands of Scotland, the Isle of Mull and the Isle of Skye.

Campsite Amenities :
● Picnic areas ● Barbecue area ● Bothy with log-burning stove ● FREE hot showers
● FREE hairdryers ● Washing up area ● Clothes washer and dryer ● Fishing tackle hire ● Owner is Biker & has a workshop
●Limited WiFi in owners Garden ● Limited Mobile-phone service (not 3G)

Breakfasts may be available at local cafe in square (will update)

As last years BBQ was a great success , Tim has offered to put this on again. So Saturday Night , don't miss the food on the deck .
Food provided by Sunart Camping (lynn), and at very reasonable prices (just to cover their costs) . Bring your own drink .

Rates: £6 per person per night for camping .
Pay at reception or with Tim on arrival

You have to be a member of ADVScotland Forum to attend this rally (unless family member as pillion)
So if you want to take a friend , please get them to sign up on the forum and put their name down to attend...

The campsite can only take Max 50 people including cabins, get your name in quick.

Cabin's also available on site if you can find a couple of friends , Please Call the Campsite direct for prices / booking (deposit required for cabins)
Ask for Tim , say its for the ADVScotland Rally ...

Fuel : 8am - 7pm Post Office in Strontian

Shops: Strontian Local Shop (small supermarket)

Pub/Hotel. 2 Hotels , and a cafe in village

Anyone wanting to lead ride-outs etc drop me a message . As last year we may have some off road sections to explore thanks to Tim.
As the FC put a downer on the off road bit last year , we still have permission to do some other offloading bits . Will get some more info from Tim closer to the time.

the weather was great in 2014

and in 2015 when Me Lowflyer and Rickskye.. had the grand tour of Mull :thumbup:

Storm Gertrude causing some mischief.. trees doon and stuff so bike in a warm garage looking forward to this:thumbup:
