Hey this is going to sound like a stupid question.. What are the different models for an AF eg RD04 RD07 etc.. I recently bought an At and want to know what model it is????

But what does the RD07 stand for or the RD04. I have a 1998 AT xrv750 is this an RD04 05 06 07 08 ????

If it's a 1998 it should be a RD07A, That's the last of the line apart from colour changes.

RD04 1989-1991

RD07 1993-1995

RD07A 1996-2002

But what does the RD07 stand for or the RD04.
RD followed by the numbers is the first bit of your frame number which you will find on the headstock or just look at your V5. As yours is a 98 model, it should start RD07A...... Later, you will experience a bit of mild panic, and think you've bought a 'ringer', when you discover that your engine number begins RD04.... Don't worry! We've all experienced that, and it's normal. All the engine numbers begin with RD04 :D.
