I'm looking for some help on the mounting of the chain slider.
I've been working on a restoration and it has been some time since I've been at it due to health reasons.
When I went to put the slider on, the mounting point does not seem to be right. I'm wondering if one of the points has been bent while at the paint shop years ago...
The fiche calls for a 40mm bolt, but that won't work with the current tabs...
Can anyone shed some light.

Looking at the cracks in the paint on the rear mount I would say it has been bent. the slider should fit between the two mounting brackets.

Thanks so much!!!!
Sometimes the obvious is hard for me to see these days.
It fit in perfectly with slight bend back and the bolt, when tightened pulled everything into place.
