Any idea how i can repair a seam tare on the crotch of my textile trousers? (Still no idea how it happened?)

i did have some of this stuff on it before: http://www.ripstop-repair.co.uk/index.html

But since i washed and reproofed them the fecking tape now wont stick on

Not looking to spend ££££ (well under £25 if pos) repairing them since they only cost around £50 originally but since they are comfy i cant justify buying another pair just because of one tare. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Armoured-Cordura-Motorcycle-Waterproof-Trousers-W42-L30_W0QQitemZ130349297255QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motorcycle_Clothing?hash=item1e596c6e67

I took mine to one of the local shops that does alterations to clothing.

She did a great job on my Spada jacket and pants after i came off in France.

She un picked the water proof lining and re stitched the jacket seems.

I think is cost £15, job done and still water proof.

I had a zip replaced by my local dry cleaners and it only cost £15.
They did mention that they had recently repaired a textile jacket which the owner had grazed along the road and the repair cost was a fraction of the cost of a new jacket.
Try your local dry cleaners if they do repairs it could be a lot cheaper and longer lasting than you think.
