It was a well planned assault following our trip to the bike show in Edinburgh (was going to visit Boris but he was out of the country! Tough! ) Following the slap up meal on Saturday evening I did the deed, a bit embarrassing the one knee thing in a crowded restaurant! But I managed! Thankfully she said yes!
Any way, here's the write up of the weekend and pic of the ring, I've bought bikes for less, saying that, I've bought cars for less too! You're worth every penny baby, thank you for saying yes!
Good evening everyone, thank you so much for all the lovely comments, I was not expecting it, a total surprise, we was sitting there at the table after a beautiful meal, I seen him put his hand in his front pocket of his jeans and thought his wallet is supposed to be in his back pocket not the front, then the next minute he was down on one knee and said will you marry me, I was gob smacked and for once speechless, the tears welled up in my eyes, poor Jim was waiting for a response ( I was in shock ) then I said YES :-D the ring is amazing, and it fits perfect, just like him, love Jim so much, he is my world, I'm so so happy :blob7::blob8:
I'm thinking of getting a dry bag to go on the seat in front of a top box, to use for touring instead of panniers. I wonder if anyone can share their experience of using them? I am thinking of the SW Motech dry bag 600.

When I check the voltage to my speedo, neutral and tail bulb (not brake filament), I get a reading of 8.2 volts to each of these areas while the bike is running and due to the 8.2 voltage, those light bulbs will blow. Upon simply turning on the ign, I get a correct voltage reading...
