All,

When I stripped mine to complete a check of the valve clearances last week I noticed that the coolant hose from the bottom of the rad on the right hand side (throttle side) was routed so that it sits on top of the fairing mount. It didn't seem possible to route another way.

Unlike some other hoses it had no additional protection and having now completed 47k rattling round in there its getting to point where the wall of the pipe is very thin.

To try and make sure it doesn't go before I've had chance to get a new pipe I've wrapped it in a piece of old inner tube and tie wrapped it on. I'll probably do the same when I get a new pipe.

Might be worth checking yours.

Pipe position does seem to be a little pants, I know DaveDixon posted probs with his throttle assembly rubbing (or something like that anyway) late last year, Checking your pipes and going for a test run ;) might be a good excuse for an hour or so in the saddle this Bank Holiday
