Hi Folks,

my Vara has a very hot Cover from the Generator ( 90 °C ) and the Cover from the Clutch has 67°C ( after 30 min driving ).

Is this normal ?

Is the bike's temperature guage showing its running overly hot? Is fan coming on with normal riding? Have you checked and tested thermostat?

The temperature display is normal. The fan will also start when the water warms up. The thermostat works.

The Problem is not the hot Water.

The Cover from the Generator ist hot.

Oil Temp looks like normal (see Picture, measured on the outside).

I think, something is wrong with the Stator, right ?

So, i have measured the voltage. It´s 14.9 Volt. But this looks good.

Its nothing to worry about quite normal,
those engine cases are full of hot oil , around 100 degrees, so they will get hot :thumbleft:
