I've rigged mine to a switch on the fairing, it's a on off on rocker type water proof switch which, the way I've rigged it the first on turns the light on , the middle turns them off and the third runs on the high beam side of the circuit which means when high beams off the lights off but will turn on when you use the high beam and when you use the flasher. Got that :thumbup:
Cheers Paulc I understand what you have done and saw your diagram but my electrickery knowledge is basic. I have the heated grips hard wired through a relay, I was going to wire them up to that. Ill have a look at the links and hopefully get them up and running soon.
i fitted some cheap 15w crees afew months ago, also have a voltmeter on the bike. When the lights are on, the voltage drops 0.1/0.2 volts. I'm no sparky, but you may be able to piggyback off the same relay.
