great photos thanks for shareing lovely looking place and what a great way to spend time on holidays . nice looking bike how did you find it to ride would it cruise along at 50 mph do you think ? I bet its light on juice . a mate had an old xl 250 twin shock it was a grand old old bike I also rode a 250 motorsport years ago . I have a soft spot for them kinda of bikes plenty of power for my needs these days but I would prefer the xr modern bike be easyer to ride .
Cruising speed? I am sure it would do 50, but as it had no working speedo I had no idea what speed I was doing! Fuel used over the 2 day hire worked out at between €15 and €20, put €10 in the tank and €10 in the fuel can but didn't use all the fuel in the can. Perfect bike for the dirt roads in Cyprus, nice and light with enough power for me. Wouldn't mind one in my garage here either.
crikey **** we was only over there back in august and i visited most of the places in your pics , in the bloody hire car :toothy3: all the while moaning at stevie saying i should have hired a bloody bike
a very nice place in a rugged kind of way and stunning to take a bike around , just along the coast from those sea caves was a bloody great shipwreck as well did you see that
Yep saw the shipwreck too

. Some really fantastic scenery and dirt roads up in the hills and the Akamas peninsula.
We were there in August too, last 2 weeks, small world eh?
Hoping to go back in a few years, maybe swing more than the 2 days bike hire next time.
Hmmmm.
How dead do you think we would be if a bunch of us just happened to be on the island at once ......... "But darling the rest of the guys are hiring bikes for 7 days! You can't expect me to only do 2."?
Dead, very dead, or just wishing we were dead!
