I have just ordered a new Transalp, but havent decided on the colour... The dealer has informed me I can take my pick when the bikes all turn up in April. Has anyone been offered a GT pack from their local Honda dealer when ordering their new bike or is the GT deal only available on the select few bikes???

Think I saw a GT pack being offered but only seemed to be on select bikes. In my case a XL650 that was going "cheap"

According to Honda's own blurb, the GT pack is only on the Varadero (got it on mine!), VFR800, Deauville and CB1300.
I have seen dealers offering it on the TA650 but I think that's a sweetener to help them shift the remaining old models.
With the XL700 being so new out, I can't see Honda giving a grands worth of free kit away, but just try & haggle hard - there is ALWAYS a deal to be had!
Good Luck (& for what it's worth, I love the golden coloured 700 but my local dealer currently has a blue one in with all the extras & it looks well smart!).

Im thinking Grey as it will make the bike look bigger, the gold ummm too much a BMW GS wannabe plus its gold!! the red and the blue... all bikes are red and blue so decision made!!!
