Hi,
My Dominator doesn't start when its oil temperature is between 60-80 C.
I did the valve clearance but the problem didn't disappear.
What could be the problem?
Thanks

This might sound stupid, but check the spark plug gap. I had a bike about 30 years ago which would not hot start - in the end the spark plug gap was 50% of what it should have been - amazingly that made all the difference!

Does your bike run ok until you switch it off and then wont restart ?
or does it run ok until its warmed up and then stops running and wont restart until its cooled down ?
My guess is an electrical component breaking down when it gets warm
cdi's can suffer dry joints, where the solder comes away and breaks the circuit and pick up coils are not uncommon problems on these bikes , could also be ht coil.

Thanks guys, I checked the spark plug gap, it's between 0,8 and 0,9 mm, so it is ok. My bike run until I kill the engine and than it's hard to restart.
As I noticed the engine usually have to cool under 60 °C, but it's not set in stone. I have read a lot of about the CDI box, and I think this caused the problem so I will repair or change it.
