What are peeps using?

I'm considering either Avon Distanzia or Metzeler Tourance, in stock sizes.

Cheers...

I run Heidenau K60 (60on/40off) tires. They're very good and grippy on tarmac and do an excellent job offroad. I've done some pretty serious offroading with my bike and the only way I could've done better was if I had used Continental TKC 80 off-road oriented tires.

So, for now and forever on: K60 FTW! As for sizind, default all the way. I see no reason in using a tire size the rim wasn't designed for. Most peeps using bigger wheels usually do so for looks alone. Not a good reason to compromise the balance of the bike.

Anakee or TKC80.

Anakees have given me enough grip and confidence to get a peg down on the dommie, while still not looking like an all-out road tyre. ;-)

Stock sizes are fine, a 130 in the back works fine as well. (My tyre shop services plod's transalps, they run anakees too apparently, so loooots of 130/80/17 readily available.)
