Me and Hudders decided to meet up at Jellys with the DR's and explorer some of the lanes the Peak District have to offer
Once we had had our fill of Julies epic breakfast we set about the task in hand.
I was more than a little nervous, partly due to my lack of off road ability and partly due to the fact my bike was wearing
road biased Scorpion tyres, We had a fantastic day and I covered 197 miles round trip......I'll let the videos do the
story telling http://youtu.be/EMi5mMKSRcg
Jeez you take off road tyres off an off road bike, put on road tyres on and then go off road !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Give me the B Luddy thing back !!!
Wheels for DR's come up regulary on ebay Russ, I have two sets of wheels. Anyway great effort with the videos, I like the way you've editited the two lots of footage together.
Tres bon filming there DC.
Hudders seems to ride his bike as if he's stolen it !
Looks like you both had a grand day out, thanks for sharing.
Was you the two chaps I saw on DR's on the Isle of Mull Rally this weekend ?
Cracking guys, thanks for posting  --- what's the chances of looking at a couple of lanes when we are down at the Xmas meet -- or are we just going down for the usual XRV p1sh up ???
It's a damn sight easier and more fun on a lighter bike. I'm not sure how much of that is because you couldn't give two hoots about dropping it but since I've had the XR the GS has seen little more than farm tracks.
No excuses for you now you've got the tools for the Job, then again you've got a good 20 years on me
