For Sale: I have an immaculate RD04 which I am going to sell - looks like it's straight from a Honda showroom opposed to 27 years old! It's the more unusual tri-colour blue with rare Honda OEM engine guards (they have a small bracket to attach extra fuel cans - as if the fuel tank isn't large enough!!!) and panniers. Toolkit, manual, service history, spare key (still in protective plastic sheeth). Only non-standard feature is 12v power socket attached to handlebar. There is quite interesting provenance; the bike was registed in Germany. The first owner sold the bike when he was 82. He rode the bike in his younger days then kept the bike to admire. He sold it to a private collector of 1980s trail bikes. This was his signature bike. I imported the bike in the summer (along with a 1990 Super Tenere which I will be touring Europe in the summer) and got it DVLA registered and was planning on keeping it as an icon piece of dakar history in my dining room but circumstances have changed and I am sadly going to sell the bike. Based near Livingston in central Scotland. I am not too sure on the value, so open to a fair offer. If you are interested please give me a buzz. 07713 - 502 102. Jose.

It really is isn't it!

One of those bikes with the tricky question. Shame to ride it, shame not to...
