Anyone know the INTERNAL diameter of an RD07A front fork?

There are quite a few fork valves on evil bay for other bikes for around £60 which might fit the AT but I need to know this measurement

Thanks for any help

John

Shouldn't it be (a tad under) 37mm? I have Stefter's valves on my RD07a. He's a member here.

I've got a set of forks off a 2001 RD07A - low mileage.
They are standard but had some pitting on the exposed stanchions so got another set.
They cleaned up well enough so not terrible but depends on your requirements.
I don't live far from you either.
PM me if interested.

ah, ah, ah. The OP is not looking for forks, but for valves. ;-)

Cheers Lee

That will be why I have saved fork valves for an 89-90 Yamaha FZR1000 in my ebay Watch List as they are 36mm

Read somewhere these fitted hence the save but wanted to check before buying

I have the intiminators fitted to both of my ATs
I read that Paul but they're a bit out of my price range

At the moment it's going to be the fork valves and fresh oil and new Mitas E07s

Stefter offers two different models for RD03/04 and RD07 because despite sharing the same diameter, the tube at the bottom has a different shape. Therefore, I don't know if valves are that "universal".
