After taking my calliper apart to clean the pistons and bores and to replace the seals I made the error of not taking photos of where the two clips/shims go !! I've ordered a manual but until it comes can anybody help? It's a twin piston calliper off a '93 transalp and there are two stainless clips one bigger than the other. The larger of the two I think goes under the pads and pushes them up but where the smaller one goes I've no idea ??
Cheers.

Big thanks for the prompt reply. It's really not very clear where number 9 goes, the pad guide. I've worked out where number 4 goes but 9 is a mystery. Really need to see a photo of a complete calliper.
Thanks again for your help.

Not the clearest, but may be of some help ( I don't have a caliper to hand!).

I did exactly the same, first time I changed the pads...:D

The pad guide sits between the caliper body and the ends of the pads, works like a shim...it's obvious when you see it!
