Nice pics een, never were so many balding pates seen in one place at the same time...!!

I remember when we met now, it was at the Ponderosa I think, and Phil took us on one of his "wavy Roads" routes heading West... Couple of years ago now??

That looks a belter of a day out, I was quietly hoping that I may be able to slip away for the day but unfortunately not.
Later in the year perhaps

The last GDL was a resounding success, we’re doing it again on the 14th, probably a re-visit to ‘The Roaches Tearooms’, but maybe a bit more North and East to accommodate a North Eastern contributor.
So, if you’re interested put the 14th in your diaries.
That is all.

As you probably gather, I don’t come here very often; love the new look forum, very slick.
Do any of the people that attend these gatherings still hang out on here and does anyone fancy a lunch meet as soon as restrictions allow?

Hi Steve, not much going on either here or big trailie nowadays, although I look in occasionally.

Life has been hectic/frantic/turbulent for a bit too long really, I'd certainly aim to attend if it was reasonably local NYorks/Yorks Dales etc, can't see me managing a long day to N Wales or wherever

Cheers for the concern all :)
It happened Fri night at the 3 staggs (xmas meet). I misjudged the step out of the toilets.
The swelling looks a bit more normal now, think my shoe contained it although it was a bit of a shock to V & I when the sock came off.
Had an xray on Sat (DCs suggestion :) ) a bit of bone has snapped off but unsure if it's from this of a previous war wound on the same ankle back in the '90s.....

I was hobbling round on crutches like a pathetic thing on Sat but much more comfortable yesterday so looks like it'll be a speedy recovery, unlike when I did it in the 90s when it still wasn't right after 9 month's (prob should have had it looked at!)

Snowed under with work atm so prob best to give it a miss.
Cheers for the offer of pillion but that takes me waaaay out of my comfort zone :)

Ok, Saturdays pathetic pic!

Phil
