What a great day ..

The weather in Aberdeen was Very Cold this morning .. But got all togged up in my cold weather gear off I go..

Up past Braemar and the weather looked much more promising ..

On the way to Pitlochry the SUN came out ..

Sun now shining , wind dropped a bit ..

Headed up over to Aberfeldy then hit the single track road up Glen Lyon ..

After battling crazy tourist drivers ,, made it to the Bridge of Balgie Tea Rooms..

The guys were waiting whilst enjoying the scones and tea.

Parked up and had a nice cuppa and cake ..

We all headed up the Glen , the weather was fantastic .. roads now empty ..
At the head of the glen stopped at the Dam ..

After 10 minutes .. and a sit on Steve's Vara .. we headed up over the *Dam Road* , not marked on maps .. What a fantastic road .. full of potholes and wash out .. But great fun ..

Stopped at the top ..

Rob (Alba) , Steve T , Andy (Outrunner) ..

The good bit of the road..

Head up and over the top, then headed down single track road to Killin , where Outrunner made his way West ..

A Spirited ride down to Aberfeldy for fuel ..

Then SteveT and Myself Headed back up over GlenCoe heading for home ..

Thanks Steve for following Me, and giving me some hints again..

What A great day , Thanks to the guys for the meet up .. Excellence FUN

Funny when I was in Ballater fueling up . There was a group of Powerrangers moaning .. I said hi ..
They were moaning about the cold , and were heading back to aberdeen .. so much for there trip to skye..

A guy on a r1 , was looking at my handlebars ,, whats that:? .. (controller for heated grips..) LOL

His mates were taking the pee , about him fitting heated grips to his R1 .. LOL

I just started the day in sensible warm clothes..

See you soon for meet !! :thumbright:

There is a lot to be said for that. At least if it gets warm you can always take them off......Ooo,Err, pehaps not them all! ;)

Mind you, an R1 with a top box full of kit might look a bit naff. :D
