Hello,
After change of clutch plates and springs on my AT RD04 750 1992 there is strange problem. When accelerating in first gear there is grinding sound (metal on metal). It starts at the moment of clutch release and last for one or two seconds. No problems in other gears or at any other situation. It disappears after engine gets warm.
Does anyone have any clue?

Thank you in advance for any advice.

Could be that now you have a strong new clutch that your drive chain is jumping a possibly worn front sprocket in 1st gear pull away ?

Same issue, when I try another engine oil. I use motul 5100, and replace with Motorex. Then sound come. After about 200km, change back to motul 5100 and now work perfect as before.
Recommendation, change oil immidiatly.
