Hi, I wanted to know if anyone has fitted any other hand guards to there Vara, I like the look of the triumph ones which wrap all the way round and meet the end of the bars? Any advice welcome, Thanks in advance Justin

Handguards - Aluminium Reinforced

Several people have fitted GS 1150 handguards without problems

I've fitted guards from a 1150GS, more or less a straight fit. just bear in mind that 1200GS guards will NOT fit

You need to match the alloy guards to the bars, otherwise it can be quite a pain getting them to fit, and to miss the fairings on full lock. It's always a compromise between protection and control. I like my levers pointing down a bit, which can make the guard fitting even trickier!

I've fitted Barkbusters. They look great, are really light, and seem quite strong. It did take a while to get everything to line up without interfering at full lock. (The one side only just clears the dashboard.)
