Finally fitted some led's on the Barkbusters. Far from perfect but a cheap solution for winter commutes.

Bought a pair of led strips off fleabay for a tenner. Soldered the wires together and connected to a Din plug that was going unused on an old Din-Cig adapter cable.

Have to plug them in every ride as the Din socket is active even if ignition is off. Not ideal but it is non-destructive.

Nice light from them.

Looks more effective from further away strangely


Even in the bright sunny morning we had, the effect when filtering in peak commuting traffic was noticeable.

Can't think of one, but couldn't you just solder in a switch "in-line" from plug to light units using heat-shrink or self-amalgamating tape to waterproof?

I think I might have been watching the same ones but I taught they would have made more they were a bargin at that price compared to the ones I got .
