Hi

Had a ride out on Saturday to Hawes, first time out with luggage and wife.

Bit of a test ride, only 117m but the bike was great and didn’t miss a beat.

Stayed the night at the Bulls Head Hotel, £60 for a basement room (no windows but great vaulted ceiling). Very friendly and a good breakfast

Hotel was unlicensed but there are 3 pubs next to each other about 20yards away.

Hawes

Hardraw Force

Good roads and great scenery, so if you’re stuck for somewhere to go, you could do worse.

Cheers

Rick

Good roads around them these parts.

The buttertubs road north from hardraw to crackpot (!) and over the hill to redmire makes a nice little circular.

Lots of good riding to be had that side of the M6.

Hi

Hawes was a bit busy, just as well we were on bike as all the car parks were full.

The waterfall is Hardraw Falls which is about a mile away from Hawes, you get to it through the Green Dragon Inn (£2)http://www.greendragonhardraw.com/aboutus.htm

Well spotted, it is jelly old bike, bought it of him a couple of months ago.
Bikes going great but I have got one eye on a 02AT

Cheer Rick
