Ive just become the owner of a very much neglected xrv 650 circa 1990 with the idea of completely rebuilding the machine. Having paid more than I should of, it seemed like the only thing to do. At present its standing in my garage looking very sad with only the engine, forks and frame still not dismantled.

So would be interested to hear from anybody who is around this neck of the woods. OK better get on with it!

Welcome to the forum.
Don't forget to take lots of photos while stripping the bike so that you can reassemble it correctly. Also will help illustrate your report on what you have done.
