My brake switch isnt working on the rear brake i have bought new switch but cant find anything about how to get to it? or how to dismantle it...?

Anyone offer some advise or diagrams?

your welcome that's a pity . I would imagine its connected to the calliper when you push on the pedal the switch is allowed to open completing the circuit and lighting the bulb . I have never worked on a rear hydraulic brake light switch only drum and the front when you pull in the leaver the switch opens . ask google or you tube I am sureits much the same principal across all bikes . its quite on hear this time of year .

The rear brake switch is down near the brake pedal and is attached to the pedal by a (weak) spring, the switch is just clipped in to a bracket on the frame.
They are pigs to adjust correctly so your current switch may be ok and just wants a wobble or adjustment.

Spot on thanks!! just adjusted it and its working again. shame i already bought the switch ha. But yeah total bitch to get at.
