Hi, I usually write at XTZ750.com, and that's where I found this forum.
My 2001 Transalp has 2 unrepairable radiators (just rotted away), and I have a friend comming to the UK next week who is willing to bring them here for me, where can i find radiators, preferably used ones, but if those cant be found, where can a get new ones for a reasonable price?
I found a right hand one on ebay.uk, but I don't know from what model they are, what years will fit my bike?
thanks, Gray.

Welcome to the forum,
I would personally try David silvers and get new ones, as you live so far away, that way you would be sure they are correct and they should then last.

I found this in ebay.de :
Transalp XL 600 V XL600V PD06 biede Kühler + Lüfterrad

Will this fit a 650 or do they have different rads?
I have asked the seller and he has no idea.
from the spec (the one I found here):
600:
Cooling System
Coolant capacity: Approximately 2.0 litres.
Radiator cap opening pressure: 13 to 18 psi (0.9 to 1.25 Bar)
Thermostat:
Opening temperature: 80 to 84º C (176 to 183º F)
Fully open: 95º C (203º F)
Valve lift: 8.0 Mm (0.3 in) minimum
Standard coolant concentration: 50% mixture with soft water

specs look the same, has any body got experience with this? has any one got part numbers that can be compared?

new ones are 450£
and a used pair is 129 Euro.
Thanks.

Is it not possible like in cars/vans to get new cores and use the outers and have someone local to you weld them up?

in this case-the pips are fine, the bottom of both sides has rotten away.
I have found an other set from a 2005 650 for 150 Euro, I think I'll just take that one.
