Hi I have a Transalp 650 2003 model, am trying to programme a spare key - cannot get the ECU into registration mode.
I have followed advice on the forums and made a lead with a 100ohm resistor in the positive lead.
Found the CKP sensor joins the loom under the petrol tank near the thermostat housing, someone had kindly soldered the wires, I cut the wires and applied positive to yellow and negative to white/yellow wire
I inserted the key that works, turned ignition on, run button is on, HISS green light is on.
I disconnected the power supply for 7+ seconds, re-attached but the HISS light stays permanently on - it should have 4 flashes after 2-3 seconds.
I have tried this a few times, but HISS light always stays on! Connected the CKP sensor and bike still starts, so no issues there
Any suggestions please ? (Apart from a Honda dealer??)
Thanks
