Hi

Just picked up a pitbike non runner for free

Engine was very tight so decided to strip top end off to inspect as bike has been abused badly

Barrel make red and piston ruined.

Not to fussed as it was for free for my kids to play on and bits are cheap as chips.

My problem is the gudgeon pin is seized on the little end bearing and won't shift at all.

Any ideas on how to remove the pin???

Longish bolt which fits through the middle of the gudgeon pin. Piece of metal tube which is slightly smaller than the gudgeon pin but doesn't fit up the middle. Piece of metal tube which is wide enough for the pin to fit up the middle of. A nut and washer which is wider than the wide tube.

Slide the thin tube (a socket from a socket set will usually suffice) over the bolt. Thread the bolt through the gudgeon pin. Thread the wide tube (sparkplug socket?) over the end of the bolt followed by the washer and the nut.

You should now have a bolt going through the gudgeon pin with a wide tube on one side and a thin tube on the other side.

Tighten the nut, the pin will be pulled out and into the middle of the wide bit of tube.

But all this said I would split the crank an replace the rod as well
