Hi folks,
I know that the regulator rectifier was a big weak point for Honda motorcycles, specially for ones built until 2005. For Transalps 600 and 650, is highly recommended to have a spare one for long trips across the world, and they are quite affordable, you can find it for £70 pounds on ebay, but what about the new XL700V? Does it come with a more reliable regulator rectifier? Do I need to carry a spare one with me for long trips? I would like to know about it, because, I can't find aftermarket ones on ebay or anywhere, just with Honda for the high price of £230 pounds.
Thanks!
