How is the rear brake pedal in 650 removed? Do I just slacken the bolt at number 13 and pull the lever off?

I have just discovered, yes, i just remove that bolt, but you have to take it virtually all the way out, and its a bit of a bugger to get to, as it's behind the footpeg hanger
