...at 10mph. In an unexpected twist of irony I crashed on the way back from the bike dealers, where I ordered my new Anakee 2's!!!

I put everything I do on YouTube (yes I'm addicted:rolleyes:) so you can watch the video if you like, where I talk about it a bit.

Glad to hear that you and the bike are okay. Maybe you should have ordered Heidenau K60's instead of the Anakees. :D

I take it you got the tyres for a good price?
Yeah! But even the Anakee's will be better than a Tourance with 2mm of tread! ;):D

I got them from a local bike dealer (only 1 mile away!!!) who has just opened recently so I try to give him all the business I can, he's a nice guy.
Bob Scott Bikes is the name of the place.
He quoted me £166 for the tyres fitted to loose wheels and I wanted tubes as well so he quoted me £15 each for Michelin heavy duty tubes.
So overall it's £196 for tyres, tubes and fitting (to loose wheels but that doesn't bother me).
A reasonable price, and he's local so that helps :thumbright:
