Well, it has been well below 0C, consistently, for about 3 months now.

I don't mind the cold.

I don't mind the snow. In fact I love it.
However, therein lies the paradox:

I WANT TO RIDE MY TA!!!

Yes, I can ride my Ural, but it's not the same!

I want to ride a bike that goes 0-60 in about 5 seconds.

Sod that, I want to ride a bike that goes 0-60.....

I want to ride a bike that leans in corners.....into the corners, not away.

I love my hack, but I am getting serious two-wheel withdrawal now. I can't even get into the garage without a large shovel and a blow-torch....

:crybaby:

Not had the snow but Im in the same boat taking my Transalp out. There has been that much salt thrown around this year I just dont want to get it out, if the temps gone up its been raining so that spoils the fun also. Then it all freezes again and back we go.:(

The weekend before,

All the mud and sh*te keeps the salt at bay. :thumb: :toothy2:

It'll go away soon enough. But in the mean time . . .

And the dogs seem to enjoy it as well . . .

If it ends and the HOT weather returns we will all be complaining that it is too hot and the roads are melting, creating more potholes.:D

Pansies, my bike has been out for the whole winter except a few days and that was because I got peed off trying to dig it out of the garage.

Wash it when you put it away that'll sort the salt out

I don't know, what is this forum coming to, the rufty tufty blokes put their bikes away before the little delicate ladies :D

I use my bike as soon as I can get it out of the shed, If a bus goes where I need to then I take that as it is free.

Well, I am FED UP :(:(:angry5::angry5:. Yesterday, had bike trainer and training ground lined up to have some instruction on my new bike. Woke up to snow and ice, but forecast for this afternoon looked good. So, session postponed. Woke up today to inches of thick snow :(:(:(.

Looked at the local BBC forecast for the week:

Sun - heavy snow
Mon - light snow
Tue - heavy snow
Wed - heavy snow
Thu - sleet

Now what's that all about? Am not (yet) a rufty tufty rider who can cope with slipperty surfaces, and I'm just itching to get riding, but seems like the forces are against me.

Roll on summer, I say. Can't come fast enough.

We had 50 cm extra of snow this weekend, and it's snowing right now, and there will be more snow this week.
Sweden have not had so much snow in more than 20 years.

20 degrees below zero yesterday...

I think I will trade my @ for a snowmobile.

Or maybe I should get a pair of these:

Army surplus. Just fabricate a fixture at the front downtube, and off you go...

flippin' heck! makes us sound almost tropical now!
We had -40.8 degrees below zero in northern Sweden last week.
Nytt köldrekord i natt - DN.se

Nytt köldrekord: minus 40,9 | Väder | Aftonbladet

More snow and cold is expected...

I have more than 100 cm of snow on my garage roof now, so I have to get up there and start removing the snow before the roof caves in on my poor deep freezed AT.

I'm just so tired of the snow now, and I'm longing for spring and the possibility to ride my bike.
