I'm just back from a trip to York having done the machine controls 1 & 3 training days offered by i2iMCA www.i2imca.com It was based at Rufforth airfield near York.

Many good things learned e.g. bike stability, emergency stopping, hazard avoidance & non-avoidance, counter steering, the fact that there's always more grip than needed even in the wet, braking when cornering, etc... etc..

Generally there's a realisation that the bike is inherently stable when moving and its its the eeejit on board that makes it go wrong by panic braking, fighting with the bars etc.

Excellent course  I would recommend this to anyone.

I had 350 miles & a ferry to get home yesterday in the pissing rain all A & B roads so a chance to put into practice some of the things learned on the course. It was one of the most enjoyable runs I can remember :teeth::thumbup:

Templer & his wife off this site has just been on the i2i offorad tryout & really enjoyed it. They are novices offroad but reckon it's a pretty well set up company for helping you learn :thumbright:
