Hi! I'm from South Africa. Been riding old bikes for ever, and recently bought a 1992 AT, my "newest" bike to date. Which fuel is preferable for the AT, leaded or unleaded? Our Octane rating is 93 for either leaded or unleaded.

im pretty sure unleaded is the one all japenese bikes since the 1970's will run on it . Africa twins will run on poor quality petrol I have read on hear about someone touring on his in deepest Africa and the petrol quality was very bad in some country a couple of bmw gs1200's stoped running and had to be trucked out of there as a result but not the trusty old Honda . bmw r1200 ... 0 Honda Africa twin ..1 :toothy9:

The Africa Twin is designed to run on Unleaded fuel. In the UK that's 95 RON for Premium Unleaded and 98 RON for Super Unleaded.
