I was having a mooch on the net to find some music I hadnt heard for ages and it took me back to when I was younger.
What music takes you back a bit and still sounds as good as it ever did.
Heres my suggestion.

i'm mostly still listening to the same music as i was 30 years ago when i was a long haired teenage biker/hippy that would be floyd , zeppelin , hendrix , the doors , who , neil young , etc etc , but one track that always takes me back and always went down well at the parties of my misspent youth is this one , a daft song but it rocked :D

I like all kinds of music from Abba to ZZ top I recently bought the stones album exile on main street and it still sounds as good as it did when I had it last over 20 years ago on cassata tape . I had been waiting for this talented young lady Jess Glynne's debut album to come out last month . she is the best thing I heard in years what a belter of a voice writes her own songs and all . it's called " I cry when I laugh " I got the delux version with 20 tracks on it . there isn't a filler in there every one is a cracker . its real uplifting music like anti depressants in audio form  I have been playing the shit out of it . hears the song that got me hooked on her https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdo_-U4PEsk&list=RD2vzmZ57w158&index=2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-M1AtrxztU

Got a star story about Primal Scream. Toby (the drummer in those vids from their career peak), now lives down the road from me, really nice chap, he plays (for funsies) in a mates band and has got some REALLY interesting (and just as many sad) stories from his career with them and others.

I would love to pass those stories on (but won't)....

This modern version of Whiter shade of pale from Gary Brooker and the danish symphony orchestra is brilliant and brings back many memories of years ago,

Another artist that still has it and brings back many memories is Peter Frampton

and Duane Eddy play me like you play your guitar

and a memory of a dear friend that will be forever in my heart , comes with this tune from Justin Hayward

this song reminds me that I never really grew up and Its not easy being a child I need to try to see the world through my little boys eyes a bit better and be the best father to them that I can even sit and watch cartoons and play video games with them I don't have to love it once they enjoy it that's all that matters  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zo4Y0TxW41g
