I want to re-wire my Dommie because I cant get it started due to a re-wiring problem..
Last spring/summer me and my son build a cafe racer for a tattoo artist in Copenhagen..

When the bike was finished he sent me a M-Unit blue and some switches, and an expensive speedo...
I fit the switches , lights and speedo but told him I had never wired a bike up before and told him I was too old to learn how so gave him his bike unwired which was the deal I made.
I am thinking about buying an m-unit blue to fit onto my dommie but dont you have to have a special phone to start your bike or can you get a key fob?

I am thinking of changing my Dommies stance to something more like the SR500 we did but with improved handling and lower bars.

PS.
Can the m-unit blue be hooked up to a bike powered by a CDI?

Wow! The cafe racer is awesome :thumbright: Btw, if the tattoo artist didn't accept this motorcycle, you can try to sell it
The guy who we built it for has got three more SR500s and wanted me to do another one for him but I politely declined...
As my son helped, he got half the paycheck and bought this...

He is studying to be a motorbike mechanic at colllege and his teacher let him take the bike into school to work on and his teacher got him all the parts he needed cost price and free of vat.
My son took the engine out and replaced the piston rings, honed the bores,,re-cut the valves and seats and skimmed the heads, replaced the cam-chains and fitted a new clutch...
The thing that I like most about this bike is that my son got paid for all the work he did by the Danish government..

He has to ride this 50bhp bike for two years before he can have a bigger one.

Now I think I should finally start enjoying my Dommie but I want to fit a Motogadget M-Unit and new tyres.
I am not good at electrics though....

Probably gonna cost about £400 but I reckon I have earned it.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Is it me or is this M unit a waste of time and just adds something to go wrong. Like instead of taking the brake light cable to the M unit why not just take it to the brake light same with the indicators and headlight as its always been done. i just don't get what advantage this gives it adds cable and complication instead of taking it away ??
