Cos they've got character & soul - they deserve a name.

Same reason pilots name their aircraft, sailors name ships & boats, trains have names, and up until the time cars became soulless metal boxes people used to name them too!

I don't really give them a name, after a while they acquire one. ;-)

The GS doesn't have a name yet, other than "The GS" or "The cow", but the NX is Igor because it's a collection of bits held together with zipties and ducttape. ;-)

K-T or A-T, are mine, especially when I'm in a 'minimalist' mood, other than that "you b*tch!" when they won't start.:D

i too like all of my bikes, have even been known to pat the tank and say "well done" after a ride.
still dont get the giving them a name idea tho.

although the zebra i can understand as i would guess thats from other people calling it that?

Mine have "sort of" names:
The Triumph's nicknamed Tigger (for obvious reasons)
Vara's nicknamed Harvey (because the first two letters of the reg are RV)
Sad but true.........

friend of mine has a HondaCRV(4x4 thing) and of course his wife has called that Harvey beacause of the last two letters.

I used to call my cars names, then stopped, and only really just started calling my bikes by a name (other than variations on expletives already mentioned)

Current bike is Lola as she is a Trannie :p (nothing I've dabbled in myself you understand, apart from the odd couple of balloons up a jumper:rolleyes:)
Someone else post a thread quick, don't leave me hanging here......
