Hi guys,

my name is markus and i am from berlin - germany. :-D

I bought my 2nd vara model 2001 last year.
With my first vara i had an accident. Shit happens.

This winter i will rebuild my vara with new rims and some parts get a carbon look (with water transfer print).

I hope some can help me, if i have questions.

Sorry for the late "PM" reply.

Yes, your right, I forgot to mention the VTR wheels.

The rear is plug & ride, but the front will require the 2mm off either disc face.

What ever wheel you choose, whether going different (5 spoke) or the usual 3 spoke, you will have to remove 2mm from either side of the disc mounting face.

Some one mentions ((Pigugly) I think), in the main thread that the older VFR 750 with non floating discs fits, I personally don't know if this will work.

I do have an older 17" VFR 750 front wheel with floating discs & that too required 2mm removed off each side.

The original fork brace can be kept if you use a CBR600 F2 front mudguard. It looks Std too when its all together.

BTW, Get them VTR camshafts in :thumbup:.

Hi Dozz,

Concerning the front wheel, whether it's my typo or someone else's, it won't fit.

The rear will fit with the Triumph disc fitted, but the front is way off.
