Hi guys just bought myself a 06, 650 Transalp... my previous bike was a Kawasaki GPZ500 but I'm getting a bit old for the riding position so for the sake of my back,knees and wrists it had to go.. The riding position on the Transalp is much more comfortable..here she is... my new baby....
I had 2006 silver Trannie. Now don't be daft and get rid of it like me! Keep the chain slack at about 35 to 45 mm if I recall, change oil regularly, and all good.

Re the fuel tap, there isn't one. Well there is but it's vacuum operated and only on or off with the engine.
The fuel gauge only reads the last half of the tank & are quite accurate when you get used to it.
You can run them way below the red safely enough but once the needle rests on the top corner of the 'E' you only have around 10 miles left
