Fancied a ride out today even though the temp was -5 and everything was frozen, I had to defrost the padlocks before I could get the bike out. There was a freezing fog which kept icing up the mirrors and visor, was easier to ride with it open, which isn't too bad with the large screen. Took a detour off the road into some forestry where there's a monument to a lost boy. It was pretty spooky in the forest with the fog, the alp felt great though, was fine on the snowy dirt. You're made of tough stuff in Welsh Wales - fair play to you! don't suppose you met much traffic on the road :lol: It was a balmy 10 degrees in Kerry and I didn't even fire the TA up....

My partner and I went for a walk on the Black Mountains yesterday. The little back lanes were covered in sheet ice in places - made me glad (just for once) to be on 4 wheels rather than 2. It was fantastically beautiful with everything coated in white hoar-frost.
