Hi Folks!

I just looking for Oil Temperature Gauge for my '93 RD02. I found lot of them at ebay around 30 EUR for rd08, and 65 eur for rd02.

As far as I know, the thread size is different: RD02 has around 29mm, and RD08 has 20x2.5mm.
But, the rest of the stick is same?

If this is true, I think I can go with RD08 stick and milling a ring to fit.
Any idea about this?

Thank You!

I am also interested in this subject and would also like an accurate one, if there is such a thing, for my RD02

Well, I think the accuracy not a real problem. The most interesting is the tendency and changes.
Just at the front of computer, I found the next solutions:

1, RD02 oil stick with gauge, 65EUR

2, RD02 oil stic with gauge, need to lathe a ring, 30 EUR
Not sure about dimensions, if just a lathe need, no extra cost for me :)

3, sensor in the drain plug + gauge 50 EUR

4, above mentioned sensor + own electornics : 15 EUR + time :)
I have some microcontroller and display around my desk, but have not too much time.
With a simple 3.2" LCD I can watch time, oil temp and battery voltage...
