To get brighter bulbs you either increase the current going through it with the heat increasing by the square of the current or increase the length of filament increasing the heat in a linear fashion or both.
Either way for double light you will need to dissipate double or quadruple the heat.
Bear that in mind as tge connectors and headlamp she'll nay well be working out of spec
karl if you search the Africa twin forum some one fitted some to their Africa twin recently and I sure there is a link to them a lot less expensive than they were a few years ago . even put hid's in the search bar :thumbup:
Update: I have installed the Osram Nightbreaker bulbs and they work amazing. I would say that i got twice the amount of light now.:thumbup:
