Has anyone here done any riding in this part of the world or could point
me to a source of trail maps for the area?

While I have grave doubts of my ever actually getting there, it has been a
long held ambition to ride in this area and with the purchase of the
Transalp, I start dreaming...... again!

Hi, came back through the Picos last October; also spent 3 weeks climbing there about 15 years ago. I used the bog standard Mitch map 734; you would probably need a local map with more detail for trails.

Nice scenic routes, big hills etc, not that big though cross it in a day easily. If you get fed up Santiago to the west worth a visit.

I rather fancied a 2-3 day tootle around after a ferry trip down and then maybe a ride back through France taking another 2-3 days. ie a leisurely stroll rather than full-on trail riding. I now regret not going out with a local TRF group years ago.... Halcyon days BC*.

I'll get hold of a map and have a looksee. Cheers
