Just about qualified as repairable in the field.
It did prove the robustness of the Marque though.:thumbup:

Cool vid.

I once saw a Varadero advertised for sale here in Australia, fitted with what were claimed to be Triumph Tiger wheels. I could never contact the seller to ask him the details :(

Would a spoked alloy rim have done any better though? :confused:
I'm thinking a spoked rim would probably have been a tubed type, and therefore wouldn't have gone flat, OR would have been an easy fix if it had.... But I could also be wrong, it's happened before :toothy7:

Maybe not its one of those delemas you never know the outcome of.
But 3 spoke alloy rims cant be strongest construction available, that dent is quite close to a spoke I wonder what would have been the outcome if it was hit further in
